Greetings and Welcome to Community Television's Website. We are a non-profit, "Public Access Television" station, delivering 24 hour a day programming, for the Eugene Springfield area, through "Comcast Cable Channel 29".
We provide a forum for local producers and organizations, from all of Lane County, to air their issues, opinions, art, events, and etc., using the technology of video. Though we do air shows produced out of our area (if a local citizen sponsors it) our main priority is to air locally produced programs.
Many producers have their own equipment to produce shows, but for those that do not, we can provide the equipment and training to use it. With this, near broadcast quality can be created.
Though we no longer receive funding from the government, we have a contract with Lane County (LCOG) which allows us to broadcast over "Comcast Cable Channel 29", if we honor it's terms.
We are confident we can meet these requirements because they depend on public support and interest. This support is amply demonstrated with the steady stream of shows, students, donations and requests to tape and air certain community events.
As well we are embarking on an exciting series of benefits uplifting local musicians and artists we know you will love.
